If the gift misses

A personalized piece is cut to one person, which changes what can be undone. A plain sweater can go back on a shelf; a puzzle spelling MARGOT cannot. So the honest rules, up front:

• If we misprinted — wrong spelling against what you typed, crooked engraving, a canvas that arrived damaged — that is ours to fix. Open the resolution flow on our retail partner’s order page with a photo, and the piece is remade or the payment returned by the partner.
• If the typo was in what was typed at the order step, it usually cannot be unmade — the press printed exactly what it was given. The partner looks at these case by case, but read your line twice before confirming; it is the one step no one can do for you.
• If the piece is simply not loved, the partner’s standard policy for made-to-order goods applies, and their order page states it for the exact listing.

Every path starts in the same place: the order page on the partner’s storefront. Nothing needs to be argued with us first, and nothing should ever be posted to our mailbox.
